- History: I started as a freelance designer/photographer for ¡EXITO! in 2003 at the tribune building. I think in 2004 ¡EXITO! converted into HOY. I helped with the transition. I also helped HOY launch. in October 2005, I moved over to the REDEYE as a designer. I ended up shooting photographs, doing software support, helped train designers to use InDesign, edit, write, typeset pages and help break boundaries of CCI with innovative techniques which REDEYE still uses today. I was at the REDEYE for 4 years and with the Tribune for 5 years, plus a year of freelance for a total of 6 years or so. Now I'm one of the founders of Cafe Media, in Chicago.

homepage.mac.com/banditob/alberto-portfolio/index.html - 1. Café Media's goal is to fill a void in the media landscape by offering culturally-relevant content that meets the needs of acculturated English-dominant Latinos. It is this space that most U.S. Latinos occupy, that delicate balancing act of living between–and embracing–the best of two cultures, that we at Café Media explore and celebrate. We deliver content that inspires, educates and entertains across multiple platforms: Café magazine, cafemagazine.com, El Cafecito newsletter and Café Experience events. We also utilize the power of social networks to reach far beyond Chicago.
