- Started at the Orlando Sentinel in 1997 as a senior reporter. Subsequently became a metro columnist and was tapped to launch the paper's Spanish language weekly El Sentinel, of which I was editor for 3 years. Spent one year on the Editorial Board. Left in 2005.
