TRIBUNE HISTORY
- Science reporter at Newsday, 1984-2007. I am continuing to write about the brain as a science writer-in-residence at The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. My position allows face-to-face contact with scientists and provides me with multiple forums to write about research. On the weekends, I write for a neurology newspaper called Neurology Today. At the Feinstein, I have created a blog and am now working on revamping the institute's web presence. The site should be launched by June. I also wrote a book recently published on deep brain stimulation.
