TRIBUNE HISTORY
- Won a Sun-Sentinel college scholarship in 1980, had reporting and editing internships there in 1982 and 1983. Came back to the Sun-Sentinel as a features copy editor in 1987 and left in 1990. Returned to the Sun-Sentinel in 1999 as a news and features copy editor and blogger; laid off in 2008.
