- During almost 19 years at the Los Angeles Times I worked as a copy editor and news editor for Metro, Orange County (news, features and sports), the Valley and Ventura editions, Business, Suburban, the National Edition and finally the California section. I worked on the pre-Internet Prodigy project, served on the pagination selection committee, piloted a Mac as color editor and was the guy who could (and did) actually yell "Stop the Presses" at the Valley printing site. Some many years ago I was graphics editor and chief news editor at the Orlando Sentinel where I designed their first TV book and redesigned the paper for transition from hot type to cold type.

Saul, You should be commended for your endless dedication
to expose the tragedy of the shootings at Kent State and the subsequent concealment of facts/evidence by government entitites afterward. Unfortunately time and apathy has beome
history’s biggest adversary in the search for what, how, and why
the series of unlikely events took place on that May weekend in
1970. Your Kent State Tripod Site stands among the “mountain
tops” of inspiration available to young and old alike. Thank You!
